Our Handled Baskets are carefully woven by hand by one of WomenCraft’s 600 women artisans in Tanzania. They are versatile in functionality and can be used to serve fresh warm bread but also as a decorative way to store smaller household items. For this basket, black monochrome fabric and the dried brown bark of local banana trees are intricately woven into the natural grasses. The modern and simple design adds character and a touch of sophistication to any home.
